Madaster Foundation is a not-for-profit Dutch legal entity (ANBI status). It has a Supervisory Board that consists of 3 independent members that ensure the realization of the Foundation objectives.
Statutory Objective
Madaster Foundation aims to implement the principles of a circular economy in (at least) the construction and real estate sectors, with the goal of minimizing waste production and ensuring no loss of resources and materials to the Earth.
The foundation seeks to achieve this by implementing a set of sector-wide accepted guidelines, standards, and tools.
To this end, the foundation promotes the development and use of the Materials Passport, while ensuring that the underlying data is used with integrity. The foundation undertakes all further actions that are related to or conducive to the above in the broadest sense.
The foundation operates on a non-profit basis.
